Description

Discover an easy imitation crab dip recipe bursting with authentic flavor Perfect for quick gatherings or gameday snacks Enjoy every bite

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz. imitation crab meat, shredded
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 2 tsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, for garnish

Instructions

  • Start by gathering all your ingredients to make the preparation process smooth and efficient. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) if you plan to serve your dip warm. Make sure to chop the green onions and shred the imitation crab meat before you begin mixing. A little tip: use a garlic press to save time when mincing garlic if you choose to include fresh garlic instead of garlic powder.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the soft cream cheese, sour cream, and mayonnaise until smooth. Add the shredded imitation crab meat, green onions, cheddar cheese, garlic powder, Worcestershire sauce, and lemon juice. Stir well until all ingredients are incorporated evenly. Adjust the seasonings with salt and pepper to taste.
  • If you want to serve it warm, transfer the mixture to a baking dish and spread it out evenly. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes until the dip is hot and bubbly. Keep an eye on it to avoid burning the top!
  • Once it’s out of the oven, let it cool slightly before serving. Use a spatula to scoop out portions and place them in bowl-shaped dishes for a rustic presentation. For an elegant touch, serve your dip with a platter of assorted crackers, pita chips, or fresh vegetables arranged artfully around the dish.
